Updates

Well a few updates for everyone. Julia started kindergarten and she LOVES it. She has been going for about a month and is in the afternoon class. I go help in her class on Thursdays and Julia thinks that is so cool her mom comes to her class! I am glad that she thinks that. She also went on a community field trip this past Wednesday to the Fire Station and the Post Office. She thought it was way fun because she got to shot the fire hose. She also got to see her mom dressed up like a fireman! (pictures to come hopefully if I can get them from the teacher)
We also had our first SEP conferences and the teacher told me Julia has a little problem with being silly in class, but when the teacher tells her to settle down she does and that she is very respectful and she appreciates that (now if I can get her to do that to everyone).
She also said she is top of her class in reading, that there is only one other student that is at her level, which made her mom pretty proud.
She took a DIBELS test (which stands for Dynamic Indications of Basic Early Literacy Skills) and she takes two test and is timed for one minute each. One test she should have 10 and she scored 42 and the other she should have 8 and she had 28. So another thing that made her mom proud!
Emma is growing and starting to talk a little more and our little Thair has started to crawl around and is just a cute little thing
Love you all!

Time Flies

Well just to update everyone. We had a beautiful baby boy on Jan 23 at 2:25pm. He weighed 6 lbs. 13 oz and was 19 inches long. We named him Thair Allen McMurdie and he is a joy. Julia is a wonderful second mom and loves helping taking care of him. Emma struggles, she is doing better, but she still gets jealous and demands moms attention. We can't believe that he is 5 1/2 weeks already. Marie loves to help out so mom can shower, clean, or take care of the kids.
Julia is still loving preschool and we can't believe she will be in kindergarten next year.

Emma is growing fast and loves to make sure Thair has is binkie.

News

Well for those who don't know yet, or have a suspicion, yes we are pregnant. We are very excited! We are due in Feb. and Julia is determined she is going to have a baby brother. Julia has also deceided the name of the baby. If it is a girl she wants the name Dora Julia, and if it is a boy Diego Julia. Yes she loves Dora and Diego. We are about 13 weeks along and it has been an emotional roller coaster!! We will be very excited when we are in our 2nd tri! I have been very, VERY tired!!! With 2 girls running around ( the four year old teasing the 1 year old all day everyday) gets me very worn out. Kyle is a good husband and helps out so well!!
More to come!!!

Sneaky, sneaky

Okay so we are eating the other day and our sweet little Emma was eating with us as well, when she didn't want something and thought we couldn't see she dropped her food very sneaky in her lap, then she went on eating what she wanted. And it didn't happen just once, but multiple times. it was very cute!!

Julia's Christmas Program

Julia had her Christmas program at school the other day and did soooooo good. It was really good! She said her parts and sang just like she was supposed to. The other kids did great as well. She wrote a letter to Santa and this is what is says
Dear Santa,
I want some toys, I love toys, and I want lots of toys. I have two bears, and my favorite friend is Ashley because she played at my house, but then she had to go home. I want three teddy bears. Emma likes baby toys.
Love Julia.
Posted are some pictures and videos.
If you cant hear Julia she said
R is for Rudolph who guides Santa's sleigh
I is for Icicle I love to lick
We are very proud of how Julia is growing and she is into everything. She is a typical three year old and is very hyper at times. She is a good big sister and loves Emma.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Glass

As Kyle and I were watching the RSL game last night I noticed he had a scab that was poking out more than a normal scab. So me being a picker picked at it and pulled out a piece of glass. WOW!! More than a month after the accident we still have glass in his arm. Hopefully no more. Kyle's arm is healing very nice and I don't think it is going to scar much. Hope everyone has a nice thanksgiivng!
