Julia's Christmas Program

Julia had her Christmas program at school the other day and did soooooo good. It was really good! She said her parts and sang just like she was supposed to. The other kids did great as well. She wrote a letter to Santa and this is what is says
Dear Santa,
I want some toys, I love toys, and I want lots of toys. I have two bears, and my favorite friend is Ashley because she played at my house, but then she had to go home. I want three teddy bears. Emma likes baby toys.
Love Julia.
Posted are some pictures and videos.
If you cant hear Julia she said
R is for Rudolph who guides Santa's sleigh
I is for Icicle I love to lick
We are very proud of how Julia is growing and she is into everything. She is a typical three year old and is very hyper at times. She is a good big sister and loves Emma.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Glass

As Kyle and I were watching the RSL game last night I noticed he had a scab that was poking out more than a normal scab. So me being a picker picked at it and pulled out a piece of glass. WOW!! More than a month after the accident we still have glass in his arm. Hopefully no more. Kyle's arm is healing very nice and I don't think it is going to scar much. Hope everyone has a nice thanksgiivng!

YES!!

Okay I have to brag. The other day my pager goes off. At first I wasn't sure it had gone off, but then I heard the fire alarm. So I get up and go. CCEMS(cache coutny emergency services) and Logan city are now letting out laying emt's to ride in with them to the hospital. So Logan comes out to help us on every call. So on the call they ask if anyone wants to ride in with them and I volunteered. So I am riding in and they decided this pt. needs an IV. I ask if they want me to spike the bag and they said sure, well then they ask if I am an intermediate, i said yes and they asked if I wanted to start the IV. I said sure. So I started and IV in the back of a moving ambulance, and I got it on my first try! YEAH FOR ME!!

Autumn Fun

Well as you may know Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I decided to go rake leaves the other day and it turned out to be more of a rake leaves and then jump in and make a mess. But Julia and I had a fun time. Posted are pictures of it. Marie even came out and watched the fun. Emma helped too.

Day of Thanksgiving

Okay I am finally posting pictures of Kyle's accident. For those who don't know, Monday morning on his way to work Kyle hit a horse. Yes you read that right a horse! It was a black draft horse and it was dark, all he saw were the hoofs and he thought "Oh crap I am a dead man!" Thank goodness he is alright. The car is totalled but Ky is fine! The owner of the horse was more concerned for the horse than he was of Kyle, which made everyone a little upset, including the cops. Below are pictures of the car and Kyle's arm. Yes that is all that happened to Kyle, other than being shook up, his arm was full of abrasions and glass. Spent 3 hours at the hospital to clean it up and get all the glass out!

Moving

Okay Jan I accepted your challenge and here I am posting something on our blog!

For all that don't know we have moved. We moved up the street a couple blocks and living in a basement of an older lady, Marie. In exchange of taking care of Marie we get to live here rent free, utility free in exchange we have to make sure she gets three meals a day, get her meds, keep the yard work and house work done, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday every other week help her get bathed. It has been great! We love her and she loves our kids. She is French and has a really thick French accent. Emma has become a lot more calm and happier since we have moved here. Marie has been really good to her! We have been here for a month and have a couple more boxes to unpack, but we have a lot more room and it is great to have that! Hope u all have a great week!

Pictures Of The Cutest Little Girl Ever!!!!

In case you haven't seen her yet, here's our newest addition!!!

Baby Emma

Baby Emma arrived at 12:04 am on March 18th 2009. She weighed in at 6lbs 15 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. We went in @ 7:30 pm to get induced. THe doctor broke my water about 11 pm that night and everyone thought it would be a while, but low and behold I dialated from a 4 to complete in an hour. We are so grateful she is her and healthy. Both mom and baby are doing well and Julia is going to be a great big sister! She is very protective of her Emma. When we gave Emma her first bath we were hoping to have Julia help us, but poor Julia ran out to the room crying because she was afraid that Emma was hurting. We had to explain that everything was okay. But Julia has been so good to help in everyway she can. We are very excited to have Emma home and healthy!

Growing Up

Well Julia is sure wanting to be a big girl lately! Thank goodness. Wednesday at the ball game she wanted to walk all the way to the car. She is also now walking down the stairs by all herself and climbing into her carseat. Mommie is so glad because it helps with my back. She has also started to trace her letters and numbers. SHe thinks that is way fun and does not want any help! She is always excited to go the the doctor with me and see baby Emma. However when I say we are going she grabs her legs and says "don't let them hurt my leg!" Yes we took her into the doctor a couple weeks ago and she got her 2nd chicken pox vaccine and she did not like it. SHe is growing up way to fast. At her three yo well visit she weighed 30lbs and was 35 1/4 in. long. She keeps me going all day and loves being a big girl!

Pregnanacy

Well I went into the doctor yesterday to get another biphysical profile. Emma passed again with flying colors! It took about 5 minutes to do the whole thing. She is also measuring a week ahead of schedule, so I may have only 6 weeks left.We also had a party for Julia on Monday. We had cupcakes and ice cream and Julia was so cute. SHe kept telling people she was 3 1/2. She made a lot of dough for her birthday so we decided to let her spent half and put the other half in savings. SHe got 3 tinker bell fairies with her birthday money. She has been very possisve of her birthday ballons. We sure do enjoy her! She also insists on being a big girl and walking everywhere! What a relief for me since I am getting bigger!!Well that's the news from us, I will tell kyle to post some pictures!
